American Taxpayers could save $60 to $100 MILLION dollars this month if the president could use his big-ass ears & fly like Disney’s Dumbo on his upcoming African trip ~ and he could carry his entire political entourage aboard his very long lying nose while doing so!!! I, like many Americans are budgeting, counting coupons, cruising for the lowest gasoline prices and trying to save a few bucks anywhere we can while this asshole and his entire lying, thieving administration are running amok! THIS is MY opinion and I KNOW I am not alone in that. BTW… I’m sure we’re being monitored by the IRS, NSA, FBI and whoever the f%@k else ~ so if you don’t LIKE or Reply to this posting, I’ll understand. LOL ~ I’m a Veteran once proud but now so disgusted with the direction our country is heading toward. I believe that GOD did bless America for a time but now, I think even the Almighty may be ashamed of the path this once GREAT nation is headed toward. TAXING THE 2ND AMENDMENT!
Liberals are trying every tool at their disposal this year to go after guns. They have failed on Capitol Hill to restrict the Second Amendment, so they are moving through the states to enact their agenda. The latest maneuver is to hike the tax on guns and ammunition to dissuade the law-abiding from buying firearms. It’s the perfect storm of liberalism – more revenue for a bigger government and fewer people keeping and bearing arms. President Obama’s hometown of Chicago started the movement late last year by enacting a $25 tax on new firearm purchases, which went into effect on April 1. In February, Rep. Linda T. Sanchez, California Democrat, and 26 of the most uber-liberals in the House introduced a bill to amend the Internal Revenue Code to create an excise tax of 10 percent on any concealable gun in order to empower Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. to establish a firearms buy-back grant program. Since the Newtown, Conn., school-shootings tragedy, anti- gun states across the nation have introduced similar measures.
A new bill in the House would prevent this infringement on the Second Amendment. Rep. Sam Graves introduced legislation on June 13 that would make it illegal for states and municipalities to raise taxes or fees on firearms and ammunition. The Missouri Republican’s proposal would also prevent raising taxes in order to pay for background checks. “The Constitution says ‘shall not infringe,’ ” Mr. Graves said, “When you place this outrageous tax on the sale of ammunition and firearms, it’s intended to curtail those rights.” Congress has authority to do this under Article 1, Section 8 of the Constitution to regulate interstate commerce, which these taxes suppress. The National Shooting Sports Foundation, which represents the manufacturers, and the National Rifle Association both endorsed the Graves bill, which will go through the House Judiciary Committee. And here – in New Jersey, a bill has been introduced which proposes a 7 percent levy on ammunition sales. What’s with that? Aren’t we taxed enough?
The Obama administration has tried to capitalize on some unfortunate instances to try to slow down the sale of firearms and ammo. The irony is that the pressure to outlaw or control the sale of firearms, it just accelerates sales. It’s like pouring gas on a fire.” The number of FBI background checks were up 27 percent in March, leading to the Senate vote the next month on Mr. Obama’s gun-control agenda. The national instant criminal-background checks were up 20 percent in April.
Liberals love to raise taxes to push their social agenda, whether to push us out of our cars, stop us from smoking, force us to eat low-fat foods or curtail our drinking of alcohol. In their worldview, individuals are not capable of being responsible for their own health and well-being, so they need the nanny state to enforce proper behavior via their pocketbooks. However, unlike cigarettes and martinis, guns are guaranteed by the Bill of Rights. The House should pass the Graves bill quickly to show the states that their gun-grabbing scam will misfire!

subordinates and “knew nothing” about anything going on in Benghazi before, during & for at least a week after the horrific murders of Americans.
*FBI Director Robert Mueller says he doesn’t know anything about anything with regard to the FBI’s investigation of the IRS nor does he know anything about why his agents would have showed up at homes & businesses of conservative & religious groups on behalf of the IRS to intimidate them because they had filed for 501C (tax-exempt status).
*Attorney General Eric Holder has amnesia and lies to Congress as to what he can recall regarding “Fast & Furious”, “Too Big to Prosecute” (HSBC money-laundering for drug cartels & terrorist organizations) and the AP (spying on reporters) scandal. *The AG has also declined to prosecute the Black Panthers for interfering with the 2008 voter intimidation and would like nothing better than to hold civilian trials for the 9/11 terrorists in federal court.
*Former IRS Commissioner Doug Schulmann visited the White House 157 times in a three (3) year period but can only remember the Easter Egg Roll, (which was a total of 3 maybe 4 times). This is a guy that doesn’t even prepare his own taxes because he says the current tax code is too complex!!!
*NSA Director, Keith Alexander admits to tracking Americans and says “Trust me”. (I don’t think so, Keith!)
*The president’s Press Secretary, (mouthpiece) Jay Carney lies to everyone and Obama, like TV’s Hogan’s Hero’s Sgt. Schultz; “Knows Nothing”.
So, I ask my fellow Americans ~ do you think our Constitution is being followed by those empowered by the American voters to protect it; or do you think it is being disregarded? Do you trust the IRS? Do you trust the NSA? Do you trust the Attorney General? Do you trust the President? Do you trust our current elected officials in Washington to actually follow the law AND the U.S. Constitution & the Bill of Rights? Sadly; I do not!

NJ TO HOLD SPECIAL ELECTION
Our Governor, Chris Christie has called for a special election for later this year to decide who will fill the seat of the late Sen. Frank Lautenberg, though he did not say whom he might appoint in the interim. Mr. Christie said, ” he wants to make sure New Jersey voters have a voice and a choice“. He set the primary for Aug. 13th and the general election for Oct. 16th of this year.
Christie faced conflicting state laws in deciding when to have the election. He could have waited until November 2014, or possibly this November. But Christie said it was worth the expense to the state to hold a special election earlier. “The citizens of New Jersey need to have an elected representative to the United States Senate and have it as soon as possible,” he said.
With the special election set, Christie will not have his appointee of choice in the Senate for a full 18-month span. However, the governor ensured that a high-profile Democratic Senate candidate would not be running at the top of the ticket this November, when he and other Republicans are running in the main general election. Such a candidate on the ballot could help attract support to other Democrats running for lower-level office. Christie said he hasn’t decided who he’ll appoint for the interim few months, but that he wasn’t putting “preconditions” on that decision.
Despite the risks, Christie could consider appointing Newark Mayor Cory Booker, a Democrat who announced earlier this year plans to run for Lautenberg’s seat in 2014, said Brigid Harrison, a political scientist at Montclair State University. The move could backfire, she said, but it would help Christie’s image with New Jersey Democrats and African-Americans across the country — especially since history shows it’s hard for a Republican to win a Senate seat in New Jersey.
Political analysts say the list of Republican possibilities includes state Sen. Tom Kean Jr.; U.S. Rep. Chris Smith; former Gov. Christie Whitman; state Sen. Joe Kyrillos, who ran for the U.S. Senate last year; state Sen. Kevin O’Toole; or Bill Baroni, the deputy executive director of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.
Another possibility could be Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno, which would open a spot on Christie’s re-election bid ticket this fall for another Republican. No one has yet begun campaigning for the job publicly. With Lautenberg’s death, the Senate now has 52 Democrats, 45 Republicans and two independents who caucus with the Democrats.
And, just in case some of my fellow New Jerseyans have forgotten; today is Primary Election Day here in New Jersey. Today all registered voters (Republicans & Democrats only) should get out and vote their choice for who will be nominated to run as candidates in the General Election in November for Governor, state legislature, county & township positions. ~dfh
HOW OBAMA IS EMBARRASSING THE DEMOCRATS & INDEPENDENTS
Democrats are blushing. And not because Anthony Weiner is back on Twitter, direct-messaging pretty young girls.
Vice President Joe Biden has long held the title of “Liberal Loose Cannon.” But Biden is such a grand hugger and hand-shaker that Democrats still let him work the crowds, crossing their fingers that he won’t say something like: “In Delaware, the largest growth in population is Indian Americans, moving from India; you cannot go to a 7-Eleven or a Dunkin’ Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent… and I’m not joking!”
Slips-of-tongue are easily forgiven (we all make them). But, lately, the Obama administration has been exposed for outright evasion and cover-ups, causing disappointment, anger and embarrassment among independents and Democrats.
Let’s run though how independents and Democrats are expressing their embarrassment in the Obama administration’s lack of transparency:
MADDER THAN HELL AT HOLDER:
Cue King Herod: the press corps wants the head of Attorney General Eric Holder on a metaphorical platter.
On May 23, the front page of the Huffington Post read: TIME TO GO, HOLDER OK’D PRESS PROBE. On Twitter, the Huffington Post editors taunted Holder: “We have a message for Attorney General Holder over at http://huffingtonpost.com,” inviting him to read their scorching assessment of his record.
Obama’s highest law enforcement officer failed to uphold the laws protecting free speech, due process and private property and now he also appears to be lying about his malfeasance.
Holder violated the Constitution and the Department of Justice’s own regulations by approving subpoenas for the phone records of journalists from the Associated Press, the New York Times and Fox News. In the Fox News case, Holder wrongfully classified reporter James Rosen as a “criminal” in order to obtain a 2010 search warrant to tap five lines associated with Rosen. Neither the Associated Press nor Fox News were notified of these probes until afterward, contrary to the law:
“Justice Department regulations call for subpoenas for journalists’ phone records to be undertaken as a last resort and narrowly focused, subject to the attorney general’s personal signoff. Under normal circumstances, the regulations call for notice and negotiations, giving the news organization a chance to challenge the subpoena in court,” explains the New York Times. Plus: “…Congress has forbidden search warrants for journalists’ work product materials unless the reporter committed a crime.”
During a May 15 hearing, Holder said: “With regard to the potential prosecution of the press for the disclosure of material, that is not something that I’ve ever been involved in, heard of or would think would be a wise policy. In fact, my view is quite the opposite.” This is hard to believe since NBC confirmed that Holder approved the Fox News search warrant.
When Holder offered to meet with the press on condition that the meeting be “off the record,” the media said: “Heck no!” Here are a few of the media groups that refused to meet with Holder:

James Asher, Washington bureau chief for McClatchy, expressed the sentiments of the entire media when he said: “If the government wants to justify its pursuit of journalists, they ought to do it in public.”
The left-leaning press may have helped Obama get elected by boosting his ego, finessing his community organizer resume and overlooking his flaws. But now that Obama is biting the hands that fed him, those hands are slapping him in the face.
LET DOWN BY OBAMA:
On May 9, Democratic strategist Doug Sosnik wrote a 12-page paper on the state of politics in America. He wrote:
“The country is still looking for change that it can believe in.
Since the beginning of Obama’s second year in office, every NBC/WSJ poll has shown that half or more of Americans believed that the country is headed in the wrong direction, at one point reaching as high as 74%. Their most recent April poll found that more than 60% of Americans believe the country is still on the wrong track.”
Obama on Benghazi:
Many members of the mainstream media (think CBS’ Bob Schieffer and Sharyl Attkisson) are showing their frustration over Obama’s refusal tocome clean with the press on the Benghazi talking points. The facts show that the White House crafted inaccurate public talking points and sent U.S. diplomat Susan Rice to deliver this false narrative on five Sunday talk shows. Rice claimed that an obscure You Tube video (not terror) caused the attack that took the lives of four Americans in Benghazi, Libya on September 11, 2012
“There’s no ‘there’ there.” This was the President’s petty response to the press on May 13 regarding Rice’s talking points. He basically insulted serious journalists on both the right and the left, accusing them of creating a “political circus” when in fact he is the ringleader of an act bigger than Barnum and Baily’s.
Obama on IRS targeting:
“Irrelevant.” On May 19, during the heat of the IRS scandal, Obama’s adviser Dan Pfeiffer went on five Sunday news shows and proclaimed that it was “irrelevant” whether the IRS violated the law when targeting the applications of non-profits from tea party groups.
ABC’s left-leaning George Stephanopoulos challenged Pfeiffer: “You don’t really mean the law is irrelevant do you?”
A May 30 Quinnipiac University poll found that President Obama’s job approval rating has slipped significantly among independents, by nine percentage points since May 1. This poll indicates that May’s big three scandals—the IRS-targeting of tea party and patriot groups, the testimonies of Benghazi whistleblowers and Eric Holder’s probes into reporters—have tainted the public’s trust of Obama’s leadership.
Obama used to be the cool kid but he is losing his cool factor. His former Democratic and independent allies are keeping their distance. This situation is simultaneously revitalizing and sad because it would ultimately be best for our country if the President and his administration were trustworthy and reliable.

Both of my Grandfathers watched as their friends and family members died in WW I. My Father and Father in Law served their country and watched as their friends & fellow soldiers died in WW II and Korea. I watched as my friends & neighbors died in Vietnam and my husband & I served our country through campaigns in Panama, Granada, Desert Storm and Desert Shield. None of them died for the Mexican Flag. EVERYONE died for the U.S. Flag.
In Texas, a student raised a Mexican flag on a school flag pole; another student took it down. Guess who was expelled? The kid who took it down! Kids in high school in California were sent home last year on Cinco de Mayo because they wore T-shirts with the American Flag printed on them. Disgusting! Enough is enough!!!
We’ve bent over to appease the America-haters long enough and I’m I’m taking a stand. I’m standing up because the hundreds of thousands who died fighting in wars for this country, and for the U.S. Flag can’t stand up. And shame on anyone who tries to make this a racist message.
